There is an interesting and unique sport with dogs and their owners. As you know a dog sled, there are hundreds of beautiful stories about the relation ship between the human and their loving dogs working together in a sever weather. Some of the lucky dog lovers actually experience this exotic sport. However, most of people have physically no access to enjoy working with their dogs in the snow. Our idea of Rhino Dog Scooters is to bring this sport to our regular daily life without special conditions and equipment. To accomplish a project after you train your dogs and work out with them will fill you with fullness, satisfaction and gives you mental and physical relaxation, not only to you, but your dog. Enjoy Rhino Dog Scootering anywhere and any time with the humans most lovable best friend.

Maybe some people have experienced that a dog pulls a bike. Actually it is difficult to keep riding a bike straight when a dog suddenly changes his direction, especially side ways. Even with the dog scooter, this sudden direction change creates difficulty to maintain the standing position of the scooter. The scooters platform is 3 1/2inches off the ground, so it is easy to step out your foot once out of balance. Also the Rhino Scooters foot break is both hand free and reliable stability and speed control. There are a couple of Rhino Dog Scooter fans that e-mailed us about their comments regarding their dog scooters. Please send any questions you may have. Also please visit our web-site at http://kaz-usa.com for more information about our Rhino Scooters and other products like Rhino Tricycles and Bobbybilt Super Wagons which are designed for all ages and all terrain. We have 5 kinds of Dog Sled Scooters, All Terrain Scooter, Dully Scooter, Dully ATV Scooter, Slick Scooter and Slick ATV Scooter.

FAQ:

I'm very interested in your dog scooter, it seems much more substantial than most others I've seen. Do you have specs on it? (brake type, wheel type and size, handlebar height, etc.) They may be somewhere on your site and I missed them...Thanks!  Scooter Specs and Price

I'm going to use it to train my Malamute to pull a sled.  what do you think about using the Dully with a dog? what would be the pros and cons of these choices??

What about the Slick. Looks like it could work off road too, plus it has front and rear brakes. Is the All Terrain still a better 'dog scooter'? (I'm looking at dirt roads, but sometimes ruts are in them...)  would the All-Terrain actually do a more crude single track?

All Terrain,  Slick ATV and Dually ATV Scooters have fat front tires which are like a mountain bike and Slick or Dully Scooters are  like a regular bike. If you ride the scooter at rough dirt roads with some ruts, I recommend All Terrain  or other ATV Scooters which have fat front tires.. If you ride on a paved sidewalk or smooth dirt road I recommend either Dully or Slick Scooters. which have front hand breaks.

Hi there,

I just stopped by your website for the first time in several months and I wanted to say what a nice job and how much I like the improvements and changes.

I particularly enjoyed the section on using your scooters with dogs. When I bought my scooter several months ago it wag with the intention of using it to do some specific lead dog training one on one with my various dogs. I can honestly say I have not been disappointed. Your scooters are beautifully made and hold up well to the extra punishment this kind of use put them through. In my case I am running my team in the Antelope Valley and the desert terrain (in some places deep sand and bushes with thorns) makes anything with less durable wheels a poor choice.

When I purchased my scooter the only concern I had was with the braking system. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out. It works well for keeping the scooter from accidentally bumping the dogs and provides enough drag to slow them down slightly when needed. I have run my adult team ( a Siberian, a Malamute, and a Korean Jindo) with the scooter and even with that much power the brake was adequate. These dogs can drag my 140 pound cart with the wheels locked down so I never expected the brake on the scooter to stop them. I am fortunate to have a well trained team...I would not suggest anyone try running more than one dog in front of a scooter unless they are very well trained.

While the braking system currently on the scooter does work reasonably well, I was wondering if there is any way to rig a hand brake as well. I have at times found myself using my back foot for balance (turning corners at speed and such) and at the same time needing to brake. A hand operated brake would make this possible. If you ever do develop a hand braking system for this scooter please be sure to let me know. It would make this currently wonderful scooter absolutely perfect.

I recently added a Malamute pup to my team and have been using my scooter extensively for his initial training. It has been an enormous help, allowing him to pull without adding enough weight to stress his still growing body. The scooter is an excellent alternative to my big cart. I have to compliment the durability of your scooter here as well...my pup has yet to truly learn to STOP pulling and not only did the scooter survive being drug 10 feet on its side (with me standing on top and the handle bar buried in the sand) but it was totally undamaged and the paint did not even scratch.

Thank you again for such an excellent, well made produce.

Slick ATV Scooter

This Slick ATV Scooter has an aggressive look and ride. The main difference between regular Slick Scooter and this Slick ATV Scooter is this ATV Scooter has a big front tire same as our All Terrain Scooter, 16 inch diameter 4 inch wide pneumatic front tire and 14.5 inch diameter, 6 inch wide, Chevron rear tire, which does not limit your ability where to ride. This scooter handles well in loose gravel and on trails with big rocks with the roughest rides. The Slick ATV Scooter needs some weight shift when turn because of big front tire but it handles big rocks, mud, and loose sand-dirt with ease. To compare with All Terrain Scooter, you may feel this scooter runs straighter forward because of big wide rear tire. The Dually ATV Scooter has a 61 inch length, 42 inch height, 22 lb. weight. The platform is 19 inch long with a rear width of 9 inch tapering to 8 inches in the front. You can stand comfortably with your feet side by side while the dogs pull. It will handle up to 500 lb.! Color available is red or yellow. Front Fork is silver.
